This key role is responsible for providing technical presentations and product demonstrations that contribute to the overall success of the sales efforts of SunGard Higher Education Banner ERP modules, Luminis Enterprise Portal, and Business Intelligence. Responsibilities include participating in the creation of unique Sales Strategy for opportunities; translating customer requirements and constraints into customized presentations and demos; and building custom demos for scripted scenario; and writing clear, concise answers to RFP’s. The inccumbent must be able to travel 75% of the time, mostly within the United States with occasional travel over seas. Preferable Central or East US location. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, plus experience in technical presales or system engineering in a software company. Strong presentation skills, Oracle database experience, software development experience, and knowledge of either Banner or other student information solutions are required. The ability to travel 75% of the time is required. Experience in the implementation of Banner and/or a Banner system administrator/DBA is a plus. Prior experience in Information Technology department at a College or University is preferred. Java, xml, html experience is desired..
