Business Continuity After Hurricane Ike: A Tale of Two Schools

This session will explore how two universities executed their business continuity plans after Hurricane Ike in the fall of 2008. Lamar University restored services relatively quickly and resumed classes. Texas A&M University at Galveston relocated 1,600 students (91 percent of its student body) 150 miles inland and resumed classes in College Station at the main campus.
