Susan Grajek - EDUCAUSE Research: In early 2011, EDUCAUSEconsolidated its research and data efforts into a single area: EDUCAUSE Data, Research, and Analytics. Learn about improvements in ECAR research, the 2011-12 ECAR research agenda and exciting new directions for the EDUCAUSE Core DataService based on community feedback and emerging trends in analytics and ITbenchmarking.
Malcolm Brown - EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI): With mobile technology, new curriculum models, the demands for evidence of impact, and the immanent arrival of learning analytics, the landscape of teaching and learning is filled with diverse opportunities and challenges. In this context of rapid change, we'll lay out and describe the ELI's upcoming program for 2012.
Greg Jackson - EDUCAUSE Policy Analysis and Advocacy: From mobility to social media, from accessibility to cybersecurity, new technologies and requirements affect campus IT services. We'll review some current issues, and talk about upcoming changes in EDUCAUSE's policy program.
Rodney Petersen - Higher Education Information Security Council: The Higher Education Information Security Council (HEISC) works to improve information security, data protection, and privacy programs across the higher education sector through its working groups of volunteers and professional staff that coordinate activities and collaborate with partners from government, industry, and other academic organizations.
