Many of us have had to approach recent budget years with creative ways to do more with less. We have renegotiated contracts and perhaps reduced our workforce and cut services. Budget-cutting activities have resulted in innovative thinking and creative ways to solve problems at two institutions, whose CIOs will share their experiences and some exciting outcomes from these belt-tightening measures.
