Scott SiddallScott SiddallBiographyScott has been roaming around higher education for nearly thirty years as a member of graduate and undergraduate faculties at both large (University of Miami, Stony Brook University) and small (Kenyon College, Denison University) institutions. Technology figured prominently in his work in oceanography but in the punch card pre-Internet era, he had to develop most of his own applications which eventually led Scott to a second career in higher ed IT management. His research and teaching background keeps him focused on technology support for the curriculum, media services and learning spaces. Scott actively supports open source software and the underlying business models of the open source movement.
