Biography

Dr. Tom Maier is the Vice Chancellor for Information and Instructional Technology and the Chief Information Officer for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Dr. Maier is responsible for management of the Office of Information and Instructional Technology, which provides advanced learning technologies, enterprise applications support and production services, infrastructure services, project and customer services, and policy analysis and development. He is responsible for relationship management for the University System Office and its associated 35 campuses.Tom has over 30 years experience in higher education faculty, administrative, and IT positions. He has served on numerous EDUCAUSE-affiliates committees.
