Overview
Information technology and networking policy are impacted by a wide range of perspectives from national, state, and campus levels. This resource page underscores the connections among these different levels and how Congress, federal agencies, and the courts all play a role in shaping IT law, as well as why this matters to higher education. With Congress revisiting the Telecommunications Act of 1996, now is an opportune time for the higher education community to help shape the future of IT policy at the national level.
