Overview

1)A group of people who share a common concern, a set of problems, or interest in a topic, who come together to fulfill both personal and group goals. The group (and the social &#145;place&#146; collectively created) relies on electronic media and web-based collaborative environments as well as face-to-face meetings to communicate, connect, and conduct community activities. <br> 2)The concept of convening people in virtual space and describes a range of online activities including electronic collaboration, virtual networks, Web-based discussions or electronic mailing lists.
