2012 CDS Executive Summary Report
Published in January 2013, the summary report provides a brief, high-level summary of some of the most pertinent and interesting findings from the CDS 2012 survey, including trending data from a matched set of CDS 2011 and CDS 2012 participating institutions.

CDS 2012 KEY FINDINGS
- Major change from FY 2009/10 to FY 2010/11: 50% of institutions experienced an increase in central IT funding.
- Major changes from FY 2010/11 to FY 2011/12:
- Compensation was budgeted to increase for 72% of institutions.
- 51% of community colleges experienced decreases in central IT staffing levels.
- In FY 2011/12, an additional 7% of institutions began outsourcing their LMS; at those institutions, information systems staff decreased by 17%.
