Why have many university partnerships involving IT and libraries failed? The partnership between the Georgia Tech Library and Office of Information Technology is one of the few stories of sustained success. We'd like to share some lessons learned over the past decade for those thinking of starting a partnership or in an existing one. We'll provide a history of our partnership, including examples of service agreements, job descriptions, and our top lessons learned, all of which have contributed to our partnership's long-term success.
