The four web-based courses in this program are being designed in Desire2Learn in order to prepare bilingual students for national certification exams in the field. The Fundamentals course engages students in basic principles and practices, while Medical Terminology for Health Care Translation and Interpreting focuses on the formation and use of medical terminology in both the source and target languages. The online materials include lectures, audio-visuals, quizzes, discussions, and exams. Students have 24/7 access to the materials and receive timely feedback.
