Find out how authentication is being used in the North Carolina academic libraries (including all community colleges, private colleges, and the UNC system) to control the use of their computers in their public area by patrons, both within the university community and by the general public. We'll look at the results of a statewide survey into authentication practices regarding privacy, wireless, student-only PCs, guest or public-use PCs, incident reports, and computer activity logs.
