Every organization faces significant challenges in an economic downturn. Reducing IT costs is usually one of the first considerations. However, it is critical to review the organization's key performance indicators to prevent long-term and infrastructure damages with short-term gains. This is even more challenging for an organization that measures IT based on high availability (five nines) standards.
