Session Type: Workshop
Stanford University School of Medicine gave iPads to 91 first-year students in the MD curriculum in the fall of 2010 and to 91 students again in the Fall of 2011. We also offered a pool of iPads to students in the clinics. This session will review the rationale and goals of the initiative, present the initial observational and survey data, and offer lessons learned and future plans.
