Digital Competencies Community Group

This EDUCAUSE Community Group provides an opportunity for members to discuss the concept of digital competencies and how institutions can adapt and adopt different frameworks to meet their institution’s goals. Beyond a mechanism to teach digital concepts and tools, these frameworks also invite students to develop ways of thinking about their interactions with digital culture for the benefit of their health, safety, and wellness. A framework ideally recognizes students’ existing digital skills and helps them navigate an increasingly digital world in the classroom and beyond through innovative curriculum and programming.
