Yesterday there was an update released for the Iphone5 on the Verizon network.  The problem is that phones on a wireless network were still using Verizon data.  Yesterday we had a parent call since their son had a $1000+ phone bill.  We have not confirmed that this is why the phone bill was so high, but I would not be surprised if we get more phone calls as Verizon bills start coming in. It may be hard to tell if this was student mistake of Verizon’s mistake, but this is information our ResNet teams might need.  If it is Verizon’s mistake we will make one parent very happy.  If not, one student will be very sad.
