  • New Publication: Building Capacity for Digital Humanities

A growing field of research is being developed in the humanities using computer research techniques that have typically only been applied in sciences and social sciences. Large datasets and digitized content, data visualization, and statistical analysis of humanities content are just some examples of digital humanities research. This project, a joint effort of ECAR and the Coalition of Networked Information (CNI), provides a maturity framework for institutions that are either getting started on developing a digital humanities support program/center or would like to make additional progress if they’ve already begun.
