ABSTRACT
The franchise on higher educational delivery has been awarded to institutions based on geographical distribution. This model of delivery, based on access and equity, is being overtaken by the advances in technology and telecommunications. Whether we reshape policy to built on these tools, permit policy to change in light of these advances or find policy fall out because of neglect has yet to be determined. This presentation will focus on the impact networking will have on the educational structures, information resources, staffing, delivery of instruction and systems of our present institutions and what responses should be made now.
