Abstract
Michigan State University's Learning Online Network with Computer-Assisted Personalized Approach, called LON-CAPA, is building a free, open-source, learning-content management and assessment system. The network would make online content available cross-institutionally to any instructor, with a focus in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education. Currently, it includes material for courses in physics, calculus, chemistry, biology, geology, food science, human medicine, mechanical engineering, and statistics. A gateway to NSF's National STEM Digital Library is under construction.
