Abstract
Usability evaluation is critical to the process of designing self-service Web applications, which must be easy to use without training. We will describe how the University of Minnesota performs usability evaluations and how we succeeded in building a state-of-the-art usability lab on campus while maximizing the lab's benefits through academic partnerships.
