Abstract
University IT administrators are faced with a confusing myriad of technology investment opportunities -- client/server administrative applications; enabling technologies such as intranets, workflow, and data warehousing; and electronic data interchange. In this paper, the authors discuss the type of technologies that universities are making substantial investments in to improve administrative capability and performance.
