Abstract

This innovation brief from Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) focuses on the classroom design of Merit Prep--a large open space with smaller adjoining breakout rooms to accommodate up to 115 students and three teachers working as a team in a personalized, blended learning environment. 

Next Gen Tools is a series of 2-page briefs that describes tools and strategies from the NGLC network of breakthrough model grant recipients in both K-12 and higher education. The briefs are intended for practitioners within and outside of the network who wish to learn about emerging practices with an eye toward future implementation.
