Abstract
Research indicates that humor enhances student engagement, learning, and leadership. Coupled with technology, videagogy is a brain-based activity that leverages technology as a resource for learning and enhances leadership effectiveness in various ways. This seminar will trace the latest research that reveals eight specific ways that humor and technology impact the learning environment and leadership. Practical applications will be presented in this brain-based, interactive seminar. The seminar will examine and analyze the research and practical applications of videagogy (videos plus pedagogy). Participants will not only learn about the theory connecting humor to technology but also walk away with very specific suggestions and practical applications for teaching, staff, and leadership.
