Biography
Brian currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for Piedmont Virginia Community College. He Leads and maintains a well-respected, campus-wide information technology organization. A member of the President's Staff, Brian works to support the College's mission by developing and implementing information technology and emerging media solutions. Responsible for the effective operation and personnel management of the Office of Information Technology. Promotes and collaborates with faculty, students, staff, and community partners on the planning, design, and integration of technology throughout the campus. Oversees all aspects of Information Technology, Administrative Computing, Academic Computing, Telecommunications, Network Services, Help desk and Media Services, Messaging Services, and Information Security. Brian holds a Master's degree in Computer Resources and Information Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Development. He was formerly a Manager, Infrastructure Services at the University of Notre Dame, a Consultant and Senior Consultant for Keane and CGI, Inc. and has served as a Systems Administrator for Realty One, Inc. in Independence, Ohio.
