Jon Bartelson

Biography

Jon Bartelson is Assistant Vice President for Information Services and Chief Information Officer at Rhode Island College. He has over 20 years of experience in higher education administration and oversees all College technology initiatives including, but not limited to: educational technology, support services, enterprise applications, data management, infrastructure operations, systems administration and information security. He provides leadership and guidance to the College's senior leadership for the purposes of aligning IT with the mission, goals and strategic objectives of the College. Jon received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, his M.B.A. from Bentley University and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
