By now, resource constraints are a familiar part of the higher education story. For years, EDUCAUSE workforce research has pointed to the same underlying pressures, especially around workload and staffing, and this study confirms that those pressures continue to be felt across higher education. This is not new or surprising. So, what is left to discuss? What remains important is understanding how these ongoing constraints are being experienced on the ground, how they are influencing institutional and team responses, and why they continue to be so difficult to address in meaningful ways.
