Software2 Company Name Change to AppsAnywhere



Milestone update for higher education information technology company, Software2 includes company name change, new website, chief operations officer appointment, U.S. headquarters grand opening and AppsAnywhere version three release.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 1, 2022 – Higher Ed Tech company Software2 has announced that they have changed the company name to AppsAnywhere. This milestone is a major move for the company in its mission for AppsAnywhere to be the central platform for students to access all their university's apps in a single click, anywhere and anytime.

This news accompanies many other initiatives, accomplishments, and updates within the company:

  • As part of this future objective to be more product orientated, they have recently appointed Peter Cooke to become the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is part of the new company strategy to improve the customer journey, increase cross-department collaboration, and help bring about other positive changes across the business.
  • Opened brand new Charlotte, NC office, next door to the Bank of America Stadium, home to the Carolina Panthers.
  • AppsAnywhere will be releasing a version three later this year. Version three will be a step change in terms of user experience for both the portal and the admin interface incorporating over 20 of our most requested improvements.
