What is ID2ID?

The ID2ID is a partnership program between Penn State and ELI and provides instructional designers an opportunity to engage a community of colleagues across higher education institutions that share the same passion for advancing teaching and learning. This program is designed to help participants grow professionally through focusing on common areas of interest such as: faculty development, academic transformation, digital literacies, accessibility, assessment, open education, and learning spaces.

Program participants are paired into mentor, mentee, or peer relationships and work together towards building personalized program goals that directly tailors the experience for specific professional development interests. **There is no cost to participate in the program.

For detailed information about the ID2ID program, the program’s badge track, and resources, go to the ID2ID website. Ready to apply? Access the application, and take your next step toward a rewarding professional development experience.

"The ID2ID Program offers so much for both the experienced and the novice alike. The networking opportunities and the chance to share with and learn from others is like nothing else offered in any community. Being an ID2ID mentor has helped me not only expand my leadership skills, but also my professional experience. Being able to discuss new concepts and ideas brought into the group from others has helped me integrate those ideas into training and deliverables within my organization."
—James Washok, Instructional Designer - Learning and Development, FlightSafety International

How Do I Apply?

Applications are currently being accepted for the ID2ID Peer Mentoring Program. Accepted applicants will be notified by the Advisory Committee at the beginning of each month after the application is submitted.

Please note that not all applicants will be accepted due to pairing logistics and the scale of the program at this time. It is important that every pair is matched based on the guidelines of the program.
