ECAR HomeDeveloping a strong, forward-looking campus IT program is easier with ECAR’s well-timed, comprehensive research. ECAR simplifies complex issues, presents proven models, and reduces the risks involved in decision making. With an ECAR subscription at the appropriate level, your institution will have access not only to ECAR research but also to its annual symposia—where your institution’s representatives can join experts from academe, industry, and other knowledge centers to discuss ECAR’s research findings in small group settings. Recent research topics include student uses of technology, IT collaboration, identity management, and IT support for business continuity. What's New?
What is ECAR?The EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research (ECAR) provides timely research and analysis to help higher education leaders make better decisions about information technology. ECAR assembles leading scholars, practitioners, researchers, and analysts to focus on issues of critical importance to higher education, many of which carry increasingly complicated and consequential implications. ECAR provides educational leaders with high-quality, well-researched, timely information to support institutional decision-making. Access to ECAR research is available through institutional and corporate subscription, sponsorship, and purchase. Some materials, such as the survey instruments used for our research, are publicly available from this Web site. We invite you to explore our research publications and learn more about ECAR, including how to subscribe. |
