The EDUCAUSE Ambassador Program is a program designed to help EDUCAUSE member institutions get the most out of their membership. Ambassadors spend 2–4 hours per month learning about EDUCAUSE programs and services and sharing tools, resources, and discounts that are beneficial to your campus and your colleagues' roles.

Becoming an EDUCAUSE Ambassador is an excellent opportunity to engage deeply with the association, grow your network, and advance your knowledge and career. Having a designated EDUCAUSE Ambassador helps spread the word about your institution's membership with EDUCAUSE.

Ambassadors:

  • Participate in periodic calls with our programs and services teams to learn about our offerings and how they benefit your colleagues and campus.
  • Connect and collaborate with EDUCAUSE Ambassadors from other institutions.
  • Expand their visibility with colleagues and key leaders across departments—and more.

The EDUCAUSE Ambassador Program is a members-only program available to colleges and universities. It is open to one individual per institution. To be designated as your institution's ambassador, log into EDUCAUSE Connect to submit an application.

If you serve as your institution's EDUCAUSE Primary Representative, contact our membership team to learn more about the program and to elect an individual to serve in this role. Our team will be in touch with additional information and next steps.

EDUCAUSE Ambassadors spend 2–4 hours per month learning about EDUCAUSE programs and services and sharing tools, resources, and discounts that are beneficial to your campus and your colleagues' roles. Your responsibilities are to:

  • Inform Your Colleagues About Your Institution's Membership and Benefits
Let your colleagues know they are members of EDUCAUSE with access to members-only resources and discounts. We've made it easy with tips and templates in your EDUCAUSE Ambassador Toolkit and will use the EDUCAUSE Ambassador Community Group to keep you apprised of news, upcoming events, and the latest available resources.
  • Keep Your Campus Colleagues Informed
Serve as a knowledge-sharing liaison between EDUCAUSE and your organization. Use the tips you will receive in your bi-monthly EDUCAUSE Ambassador newsletter to help your colleagues take advantage of their member benefits. Be sure to join Ambassador Coffee Breaks to get the latest on all things EDUCAUSE.
  • Be a Key Point of Contact
Be a local point of contact for EDUCAUSE-related questions your colleagues may have. Use the EDUCAUSE Ambassador Community Group to crowdsource ideas and solutions from other ambassadors, and have a direct pipeline to our membership team to help resolve any tricky member issues.

Yes! Visit the EDUCAUSE Ambassador Toolkit page for complete information about your role and benefits, a promotional toolkit with tips and templates for engaging your campus in EDUCAUSE, ways to connect with other ambassadors, and more.
