Get to know our brand guidelines.

EDUCAUSE trademarks, service marks, logos, trade dress, and any other identifying marks or insignia (collectively "EDUCAUSE's Trademark") should only be used in a manner that follows these incorporated guidelines to maintain brand integrity:

  • EDUCAUSE trademarks should not be used on a heavily textured, colored, or patterned background.
  • Keep the trademarks separate from other elements within the design space by maintaining a measure of white space around it, regardless of the medium.
  • EDUCAUSE should be written in all uppercase and any copy should not imply that EDUCAUSE endorses your company's presence at our events or its products and services.

Create a strategy.

Work with your human resources or IT communications department to promote your institution's membership with EDUCAUSE and how your colleagues benefit. Review the tips and templates below to incorporate into your promotions and preferred communication channels.


Use your daily emails to let your colleagues know about your role as EDUCAUSE Ambassador.

EDUCAUSE Ambassador for [Insert Institution]
Did you know our organization is an EDUCAUSE member? Contact me for information on research, resources, events, and discounts you should know about.

Introduce yourself and your role to your colleagues and let them know they have access to membership benefits. Simply download this pre-written email we've crafted for you and share it with your academic/teaching and learning, IT, cybersecurity and privacy, research, library, and business staff.

Add a web page about EDUCAUSE membership and benefits to your IT website and campus eLearning/professional development sites (or link to our overview page).

Post (or re-share) EDUCAUSE content to your preferred social media channels. Be sure to follow EDUCAUSE on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Are you engaging on our community platform, EDUCAUSE Connect? Update your email discussion signature to promote your role. Simply:

Reserve time during a staff/faculty meeting to conduct a presentation about EDUCAUSE and the benefits available to your colleagues.

Create a strategy with your human resources department to inform your colleagues about EDUCAUSE and membership benefits. For instance, discuss ways to incorporate key details into your institutional onboarding materials.
