Roberta Roth

Biography

Roberta is the Director of IT Policy, Strategic Planning and Communication for the Nevada System of Higher Education. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology, her role is to provide leadership and coordination in the development, implementation and measurement of NSHE-wide strategic planning, policies and communication plans for Information Technology, furthering the vision and strategy for NSHE-wide IT governance, collaboration and planning. The Nevada System of Higher Education is The Nevada System of Higher Education is comprised of two doctoral-granting universities, a state college, four comprehensive community colleges and one environmental research institute, serving more than 110,000 students and is governed by the Nevada Board of Regents. Roberta assists in outreach and specific activities and programs to focus on aligning IT strategy, centralized and shared services, investment decisions and processes with NSHE business needs and requirements. She is also responsible for IT Project Communication and other planning roles for Nevada's iNtegrate Project. Roberta joined NSHE in 2001 and has served in a variety of IT leadership roles.
